Hi,
I am trying to change my email address and it says the verification email has been sent to the new email address but I am not receiving any emails in my new account.
I have tried accessing the spam folder but it's not there either.
can anyone please help me ?

I understand that you are not receiving emails. I suspect this is due to the email suppression
Adding to the suppression list is a mechanism to avoid spamming recipient mail servers and indicating that an error has occurred, having identified they are not available to receive the email. The recipient may not be available due to various reasons some of which are, but are not limited to - DNS Resolution, Mailbox being full, Network issues, Firewall rules, Mailbox unavailable, Mail Servers facing reach-ability issues, User not setup, mailbox being inactive, etc.
We have a community post that can help admins to un-suppress emails. Please find the posts below
If the you are unable to find yourself in the suppression list , request you to reach out to support here: https://support.atlassian.com/ so that we can further check the account.

Thank you for looking into it.
My email address which I have in my profile has been changed. this suppression list is showing my old email address which is not in use.
I am trying to update my new email address but i am not even getting the verification emails on my new email address.
do you have any idea about adding a new email address ?

But incase you not receiving emails then i would suggest reaching out to support to further check your accounts
