How to use validators and post functions for eSign for Jira in a team-managed project

I am working on a team managed project and workflows do not have the typical validators and post functions like they do in a company managed project. The eSign for Jira add-on documentation insinuates that it can be used on a team-managed project, but I can't see a way to tackle this in the workflow to make steps restricted based on signature. Could I do this through properties potentially? I have done this using the pendingSignatures and signatureExport locked fields, but they do not seem accessible in the company managed project workflow. Any suggestions would be appreciated - thanks!

Can you point out where in the app documentation you are getting the impression that it can be used with Jira Cloud Team Managed projects?

Were you able to add the custom fields to the issue layout in the Team Managed project?

In advanced security it mentions team and company managed projects, but I am guessing this functionality isn't possible natively. Is there any additional suggestion to make restrictive transitions/automatic signatures in a team-managed project, or must it be a company-managed project to have this functionality?

Hi, as the eSign vendor we can confirm that the best approach to enforce signature requirements in the Jira workflow the process is to use the eSign-provided Jira workflow validators.   

eSign is compatible with team managed projects (i.e. Signatures can be configured and captured,  security enforced, etc).   As mentioned above,  the Jira workflow editor for Team Managed Projects does not currently allow configuration of workflow validators and post-functions.

For a tightly controlled project that requires signature checkpoints and automated post functions, today the only option is to use a Company Managed project.
