Hello,

Is it possible to remove "time tracking" field from a specific JSM project?

I removed this field from all the screens associated with this project,  but it still shows in the all issue views.

Thank you.

Hello @Elif Alverson

Did you remove it from the Issue Layout?

From an issue where it is visible click the Configure button below the panels on the right.

That will take you to the Issue Layout configuration for that type of issue.

If the field is available in the Field Configuration for the issue then it can be placed on the screen from the Issue Layout, even if it is not in the Edit or View Operations screens.

This is one of the changes of the "new issue view". The display is not solely based on the Edit and View Operations screens.

From the Layout screen you can drag a field from the display in the center and drop it in the panel space on the right to remove it from the screen.

@Trudy Claspill , thank you for your response.

I was able to remove the " time tracking" field from the issue types which are associated with request types. However epic and task issue types which are not associated with any request types , the configuration section is grayed out. See the screen shot below and let me know, if there is a work around. Thanks again.

Another option is to Hide the field in the Field Configuration associated with the project.
