How to populate another field when a radio button is selected on ITSM portal?

Hello Team!
Is there a way to populate the date picker field when a radio button is selected? Please see attached:
If 'Temporary' radio button is selected, another field (Date picker or any desired field) should populate. I tried to do it via Automation but it doesn't work or I'm not sure if I done it correctly. Is there other ways to do this?
The scenario above is required to execute on the ITSM portal used by the customers. Thank you!
