How to make field "TEAM" visible in a Dashboard Gadget?

Hi All, 

I have a customized field in Jira = Team. I want to create a Dashboard with a gadget that shows me the team on the y-axe and the different issue types on the x-axe. 

But I do not have the field team in the drop-down list. How can I make this one visible?

What type of field is your Team field?  The two-dimensional gadget can only report on certain types (ones that have a countable list of possible values)
