I am using structure for JIRA to organize my projects. While doing so, I identiied some of the missing stories and tried to create them right then using structure. I arranged its hierarchy such that it falls under the right epic but when I click on the story it does not show the epic link?

1- Does structure for JIRA have that option?

2- If so, how do I ensure that all the stories are rightly linked?

Hi Aishwarya,

Let me add to Veera's reply.

Basically there are two possibilities:

  1. There is no automation in the structure yet, so you will need to set it up (maybe from the scratch), and here is a quick start guide
  2. If automation is present, then there is something preventing the creation of an epic link, while at the same time you have Manual adjustments active in the structure. In that case I'd recommend disabling manual adjustments and see what error message appears.

If the above does not help, perhaps we will need to look at the issue in more detail, so I'd recommend contacting us via support@almworks.com
