How to limit the number of choice in multiple select list?

Hi Community !

Use case  : In Multiple select list, we need to block the creation of issue if the user selected more of 5 values.
Does anybody knows how i can do that?

I found a whay to do it with the Extension for Jira Service Desk plugin in the Dynamic Forms part !!! You need to add a validator in the field.

You can't do it out of the box. I know scriptrunner is available in Cloud. You may be able to do it with that

I already have the scriptrunner! Do you know how to do it?
Do you know if I can block this the moment the customer opens the problem?
