How to get users to show up as name and not ID in a Jira table within Confluence

I have a table in a Confluence page that is pulling data from Jira fields that has users but in the table they are showing up as user ID (Example: 234c6bb83-93snf8349h or firstname.lastname). How can I get them to show up as the users name (EX: John Doe)?

This was an intentional change by Atlassian - it's a requirement of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) laws. You won't find an easy answer to this question.
