How to find Issues with a Merged PR in Jira Cloud

This Atlassian Community thread details how ".merged" and ".declined" were added for Jira server back in 2019.  The comments detail how this has not been implemented for Jira Cloud and there appears to be no movement from Jira product to mention why.  Perhaps there's no communication because the comments are on an accepted answer.

Currently cloud appears to only support development[pullrequests].open and development[pullrequests].all.  It would be very useful to have support for development[pullrequests].merged and development[pullrequests].declined for github integrated repositories.

Can Jira answer when advanced searching like what's available in Jira Server will be available in Jira Cloud?  Failing that, can we get an indication of why this feature can't be implemented?

It's not likely anyone on this public forum can provide an answer to such a question, as it's ultimately an Atlassian internal product development decision.
