I want to change the status colour on the customer portal.
eg. Under process -yellow colour.
resolved- green colour.
To change the color go to Issues --> statuses and then select the status that you want to change the color.
Edit that status and you can find the category option just select the category and update it.

Although Yogesh is correct that the status colors are maintained in Jira I assume you are referring to the fact that your status colors in Jira are not reflected in the Jira Service Desk Portal. This is a known issue with the Jira Service Desk software, you an find the ticket for it here:
as you can see the issue is nearing 4 Years old and no action has been taken on Australasian behalf. I hope this information clears things up for you

These are maintained in JIRA and not in service desk. Check in JIRA.
