How to assign weight to selection list options? and do calculations with the weights?

I have a field called 'urgency' of the single selection list type, and it has the options: 'high', 'Medium', 'Low'. I wish you want weights 9, 6 and 3 respectively. And multiply these weights by values from other fields to have an indicator that represents priority.

You could do that with Automation Rules. I think a Lookup Table would be the best option in this case, for getting the weight value based on the value selected in the field. Are you familiar with constructing Automation Rules?

Note there are limits on the number of Automation Rule executions you are allowed per month. You would need to consider how adding the necessary rules would impact your overall usage.
