How do I see planned work dates for assignees when they are collapsed in Plans?

I am trying to use Plans for Capacity management on my team, where I am grouping by Assignee. Ideally I would like to see who has/does not have work scheduled with all Assignees rolled up/collapsed. I can see their work blocks when expanded, but I see nothing when collapsed. Here are some screenshots and my view settings:

You can see I have a block of work planned for this person

But when it's collapsed no work shows on the calendar.image.pngimage.png

Hello @Josh Ellis

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I don't believe that is a feature that is currently available.

I saw a post from 2021 about the same feature being requested for the Jira Data Center version.

https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Advanced-Planning-in-Jira/Jira-Roadmaps-Summary-by-Assignee/td-p/1602605

I have not found a change request for it in JAC

https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/MyJiraHome.jspa

You could use the Provide Feedback option within the Jira Help menu to suggest this directly to Atlassian. Or you could ask your Jira Administrators to submit a support case to Atlassian to make this change request. With the latter option Atlassian should return a link to the change request, which you could then share here to encourage other community members to vote for the change.

Thank you! Bummer it can't be configured that way, but at least I know now.

Hi @Josh Ellis

@Trudy Claspill is right here, this can't be done.

Also this is because estimation is done on items and based hierarchy of issues, not based on the user.
