How could I assign a ticket to a user in a workflow edition?

I started to work with workflows, but I don't know how assign a ticket to a specific user inside of the workflow.

Are you aware of any of the plugins below?

- Script Runner 
- Automation for Jira

I believe that they both resolve your problem easily

Thanks for the answer, in fact I'm really new in the use of Jira Help Desk and I didn't know about that plugins. 

With any of that plugins could I assign a ticket/issue to anyone as a first step after a user report?

Hi @Jorge RM 

I understood that when there is a change in the status of an issue, then it will be assigned to a specific user, right?

You can do this with both, however using Adaptavist you will have to program, that is, write line of code.
Now, using Automation for Jira you will not need to write a line of code, as it has a friendly interface for you to write rules that Jira will obey.
