How can I stop JIRA redirecting users (without any application access) to the portal page?

I've created a plugin with a servlet module, but I'm having issues accessing servlet's path with users that don't have JIRA Software/Service desk application rights on them. Is there a mechanism to disable the redirect or to add my servlet path as an exception to the rule? I see that I don't get this kind of issue with other add-ons from the market. Thanks a lot!
