How can I permanently hide the completed subtasks in a ticket?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Unfortunately, the option to hide subtasks in the new issue view cannot be selected with a default value, always been cleared up when the page is refreshed.

We have a task with our development team to improve this behavior here:

- Make the "Hide Done sub-tasks" option permanent
