Have PDF attachments show up as search results

Have PDF attachments show up as search results

We have confluence and jira service desk running. We have a large list of pdf documents attached to a page in confluence. We have the confluence space set up as a client portal in service desk. We would like them to be able to search the space and get results based on the names of the pdf files at least. Is this possible?

You could try doing a full search (which shows up after you have tried searching for something in Confluence) and selecting the space and attachments. This will search through the name and content

That option doesn't seem to be presented when viewing a customer portal. It's just a search box with results or no results.
