Field Dependency

I was wondering if there is a way to have one field depedent on another field? Such as a custom field that ask if any changes to reports. The user selects yes so the next field a text field which is for a description of the change has to be filled out. Any help is appreciated.

Since JIRA is currently not having this feature, you might would like to search for JIRA plugins for it. So far, I could suggest you to try this plugin as it have some feature to configured JIRA fields in more complex:
