Excel Export filter fields

Hello,

I created a filter for our project reports and customized the columns to display the required fields. When I export the filter using Export → Excel CSV (filter fields), the file correctly includes the customized fields. However, when I share the filter with other users, the report they see is not the same as the one I exported, as the column configuration does not match.

The report I exported: Screenshot_12-3-2026_93441_centuriacapital-my.sharepoint.com.jpeg

and this is the exported file the other user:

please help me if there is any permission to check or other configuration settings.

Hello

For a saved filter you can set the preferred fields for the filter by clicking on the Configure Columns button, then the Filter tab, and specifying the fields you want.

You then need to make some small change to your filter, like changing the sort order from ASC to DESC, re-execute your filter search, and then Save your filter again. That will save the preferred fields that you set. At this point you would revert the small change you made to your filter, re-execute it, and save it again.

When the user execute the filter it should default to the preferred fields that you set.

However the user may themselves click on the Configure Columns button and click on My Defaults or System, and re-execute the filter. That changes the fields shown in the results which will change what is exported.
