Hi JIRA Support Team,

Some internal/external users in our organization create JIRA issues as 'blocker' priority. But all of them are not 'blocker', but 'critical'.

Do we have an ability to configure for a specific person being able to set 'blocker' priority. Others are just able to set 'minor, major, critical' priorities?

Many thanks for your support. I do appreciate for your response! :-)

Regards,

Nguyen

Not natively, if a user can set a priority, they can choose any value for it.

If you have something like ScriptRunner, you could set validators on the workflow to force people to change priority before proceeding if the last edit was by the "wrong" person, or use Behaviours to remove the option from the priority drop-down.
