Disabled Enable widget option

I'm trying to enable the widgets on a blank HTML page but it doesn't seem to work. Upon further investigation, the enable widget slider is greyed out – meaning I can't even move it for it to be enabled.

I've tried the following (as per the recommended settings):

Project Settings > Customer Permission > Anyone

Global Settings > Configuration >

Can customers create their own accounts? > YES

Can customers access and send requests from the help center without logging in? > YES

I can't seem to find the solution that would help me in the net. Any feedback as to what I am doing wrong?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When accessing the widget’s page, if the Enable Widget is greyed out, it would also show a message “Validation has failed” informing what needs to be changed to enable the widget.

Your configuration seems correct.

The Customer permission must be set to “Anyone on the web” and then on Cog icon > Products > Configuration, the customer permission must be set to customers create their own accounts and send requests without logging in.

Can you please share with us a screenshot of the widget’s page?

 

Have you tested using another browser or incognito mode? I’m asking this because sometimes there are browser extensions that may affect simple functionalities in Jira.
