Disable Options for Custom FIelds (JIRA 3.x)

However, I am asking specifically about JIRA 3.x. I don't see the "disable" option for individual values within my custom field. Is there a workaroudn for JIRA 3?

My (limited) research and experience has told me this is not possible out of the box with JIRA 3.13. I've read about some various javascript injection tricks you can do, but they can get quite messy. Another option for newer versions of JIRA is JJupin with it's Live Fields component.

Since you are running 3.x, it has already reached the EOL. I would recommend you to upgrade your instance so that you are in sync with the latest or at least a supported version of JIRA.
