I created a new organization in my projects and I need to delete it but I am unable to in the organization's settings page that I need to delete. I am the only person in the project as it is personal.

I get this message when I click on Delete:

"Your organization has products that you need to remove before deleting it. If you’ve recently removed the products, retry in a minute."

I am not a company I am a normal user with a free account which I am using to work on a project. My main account shows the organization I am normally working with with all my projects in, I need to keep that one but get rid of the new one I created.

Hello @Axel Van Dyck

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Let us make sure that we are using the same terminology.

In Atlassian Cloud at the highest level is an Organization.

Within an Organization you can have 1..n Sites (depending on your subscription plan). A site is identified by a URL such as https://YourSite.atlassian.net

Each Site can have 1..n Products. Products are, for example Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.

To delete an organization you have to cancel/unsubscribe from all the Products in all the Sites within that organization.

Your request to cancel/unsubscribe takes some time to process.

Additionally Atlassian will keep your data available in case you change your mind and want to reactivate the subscription.

So, there is a delay between the cancellation of your subscriptions and when the products are actually deleted, which means there is a delay before the Organization itself can be deleted.

More information on this can be found here:

https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/delete-your-organization/

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

@Trudy Claspill Hi! Yeah exactly, I have a main site with this structure https://YourSite.atlassian.net, and then I mistakenly added another site with the same structure. Now I have two sites. I am only using one, and I want to delete the other one. Here is a picture of the products on the main one:

And here is a list of the products shown on the other one I mistakenly created (bugbusters16):

Now, by "mistakenly" I mean that I was looking for an option to download the software and clicked on a button to create a new site.

Do you have questions remaining about deleting the organization? Or do you understand that you need to cancel your subscriptions, wait for the cancellations to be processed, then wait for the data for the products to be deleted, and then you can delete your organization?

On to the other item you mentioned  - "looking for an option to download the software". Are you wanting to download the Jira software to install on your own infrastructure? For that you would need to look at the Jira Data Center product. Jira Cloud is a SaaS product - there is no software to download.
