BACKUP THE SITE!
Now that you have backed up the site, welcome to this article. Even though Atlassian, Community Leaders, and many, many users world-wide could not possible understand why this would be necessary, I will explain the steps for accomplishing just this task.

BACKUP THE SITE!
Atlassian Cloud - How to Delete Your Site & Cancel Your Subscription
Method 1 | Licensing Portal
- Backup your Site
- Navigate to https://my.atlassian.com
- Find the Atlassian Cloud item in the list.
- Click on Cancel Subscription.
- Choose Cancel or Delete Immediately.
- Cancel will allow access for the remainder of the billing period, will deactivate the site for 2 weeks (during which the site can be re-enabled), and then delete the site.
- Delete Immediately does just that.
- Type CANCEL in the confirmation box.
- Provide Atlassian with a bit of feedback (this really does help).
- Click the Delete Now / Cancel button.
- Refresh the portal and confirm the subscription is gone.
Method 2 | Site Admin Portal
- Backup your Site
- Navigate to https://admin.atlassian.com
- Select the Site you want to cancel.
- Select Manage Subscriptions under the Subscriptions & Billing heading within the left column.
- Select Cancel Subscriptions at the bottom of the Active Subscriptions list.
- Choose Cancel or Delete Immediately.
- Cancel will allow access for the remainder of the billing period, will deactivate the site for 2 weeks (during which the site can be re-enabled), and then delete the site.
- Delete Immediately does just that.
- Type CONFIRM in the confirmation box.
- Provide Atlassian with a bit of feedback (this really does help).
- Click the Delete Now / Cancel button.
