Since migrating all of our clients to Portal, we seem to have lost the ability to link in another user by using '@' within Portal view. Does this feature not work for Portal users, or is there something that needs to be done to enable it that we may have missed?

Sorry JSD hasn't yet got this feature. You can do workaround using [~username] syntax but there's no searching, you have to know the username. There's a feature request to track this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-288
