Custom fields by project

I created several custom fields, but when I create a new project, I need to go into the field configuration and manually associate the project to that field. Is there way to do this automatically? I have a Field Config Scheme associated to that project and I still need to manually assign the project to the field.

Not really, you need to associate them because Field Configuration does one thing, and Field Contexts do another. You can only get fields included in projects automatically by making them global.

As per my understanding I think you should select Global context instead of selected project while creating custom field.
