Custom field drop down options now added a duplicate entry with "(not available)"

Just updated to JIRA to 8.8.1 and we have noticed that our custom field drop down options now added a duplicate entry with "(not available)". We cannot seem to change/remove this "(not available)" as an option in Custom Field Configuration because it is not there. This becomes a problem in bulk movs, since it will not complete the move if the custom field is set under the "(not available)" option.
