Custom Field with its own revisions?

Kathy Tempesta

I need a custom field that I'm pretty sure doesn't exist but trying to search to see if there's a plugin that does it is proving difficult because I can't figure out how to describe it. I'm creating aproject where there is a group of fields that can get updated multiple times to track some specific details about billable work on the issue.

Is there a way to create a custom field where after you add a value, it automatically creates a new, blank field to add another value?

Or am I just dreaming? :-)

Hey there, Kathy.

You are not dreaming for sure. You can either develop (https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/JIRA+Plugin+Guide) a plugin by yourself or try to check on the Atlassian Marketplace (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/) for any third-party plugins that might be able to provide you with the custom field that you require.

Apart from that, you can also consider the following channels to address this requirement too:

Good luck and all the best. Hope this helps.

Warm regards,

Danial
