Creating a custom field with two boxes next to each other

Hi I want to create a custom field for having two text boxes in one line and the user can input it when creating an issue.

You will need to write an add-on that provides the field for that. Start at https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/creating-a-custom-field-type/ (assuming you are on Server, not Cloud)
