Copy Value from fields from another Story to a new story via Automation

I dont have Cloning as an option available but want to copy fields from one story to another for similar Stories which have mostly same data. Can we create an automation to pull data off one story to another?

Cloning option should be available as long as you have the create permission issue set.

That would be simpler that creating an automation rule to copy each specific value from a jira ticket.

However, if needed, cloning can be done also from automation. Here's a post that go through the option:

Thanks Benjamin, our challenge is we have already quite a few automation running on the linked Issue. Cloning the story makes them unusable.
