Conditional Transitions

Ron Aisen

Hi Folks, I'd like to create a workflow for jsm that uses transitions conditions according to specific situations i.e

if a custom field that is called Ops Owner isn't empty don't allow the assignee to move the ticket to resolved and only the ops owner can transition the ticket to resolved,

if the custom field is empty then the assignee can move the ticket to resolved without requiring the ops owner to review it

if the ops owner is the assignee then he/she can move the ticket to resolved without requiring a review.

Im struggling with the conditioning and I want an efficient way of doing it,

any suggestions?

Hello @Ron Aisen ,

When adding conditions to a workflow, it is also possible to group these conditions according to your needs. Depending on your requirements, you can achieve this using the out-of-the-box feature.

Here is an example:

Hope this helps :)
