Change email address

If I change my email address via the atlassian account page, I know how, but want to make all of my history in JIRA be kept? I need all notifications sent to a new email address.

 Atlassian switched to atlssian id for users which are using the cloud solutions.

To update emails go to - https://id.atlassian.com , this shouldn't change your JIRA history and new emails should go to the new email account .

Thanks Tarun, I am aware of where I need to go to change the email address, however, I am looking for a definitive answer as to whether the history is kept.
