Cannot show date in board-preview

Hi,

I want to show the date or due date in the board-preview , have tried everything but couldn't find the option as it looks like it's never possible.

Can someone help on how can I show the due-date or date on the board-preview as marked in red below?

this is a next-gen project which does not allow editing the card layout like you can in Classic project.

so meaning if I choose 'classic project' in the first place of creation then I should be able to show the date up in the preview-board?

yes. now you mention "preview-board" but I think you just mean the kanban board.
