I created Epic which is parent for Story but I can't create a task to be parent for Story, is it normal behaviour please?
Hello @Rim Sqalli
With Task and Story both defined as Level 0 work item types you cannot have a Story be a parent to a Task.
Level 0 work items types can be parents only to Level -1 work item types.
By default, Level -1 work item types are referred to as "sub-tasks" (or Subtasks in Team-managed projects). Sub-tasks are handled in a special manner in Jira. Sub-tasks cannot exist as a stand-along work item. They can only exists as children of items from Level 0.
Hi @Rim Sqalli
Please refer to the previous answer from your question, so we avoid having duplicates. As previously mentioned, this is done with configuring the global hierarchy which can be found here: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/How-can-one-create-a-hierarchy-of-Epic-gt-Feature-gt-Story-gt/qaq-p/2076956

Hello @Nikola Perisic it is not the same, I just one 3 levels, Epic, Story and Task, thank you for your understanding, it should not be complicated, the other question requires more customisation

As mentioned before, this is doable with the global hierarchy, which is not available for Standard tier:https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Issue-Types-and-Hierarchy/qaq-p/2936587
