Hey  @Carol Shapleigh - Have you got the chance to check on smart values with mathematical calculations. You can store the value in custom field using the smart values - https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Calculations/qaq-p/3085538 

Please let me know if you need help with the automation. If yes, can you please provide more info about the 2 rows? are these the system fields or custom fields? What values are being stored on them.
