Hi Ivan,

we are currently using Portfolio for jira, and evaluating if we can use Big Picture but still confused, can you suggest something on this ?
we are a big organization and want to know - is bigpicture is good for large organization ?

@sandeepsai , I would say that it depends on your use case but I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be. Typically, you can have a very good idea looking at the Atlassian Marketplace information such as the number of active instances the app has been installed, whether or not it is a featured app, labelled as a staff pick, reviews, etc.

Also, most vendors provide a demo of their products. I would go ahead and try reaching out to them to see whether they can do a demo for you. 😉

Hi @sandeepsai and @Ivan Lima

The live demo version of BigPicture, as well as weekly live demo sessions, are available here https://softwareplant.com/demo/. Also, several youtube videos were recorded lately, to be googled ('bigpicture demo webinar').

Is BigPicture appropriate for a big enterprise? It has always been, but BigPicture 8 (to debut in May 2020) brings entirely new qualities for large organizations:

- Boxes (true portfolio management) that let you maintain, say, 20 or 200 waterfall or hybrid projects, together with another 200 agile projects, and observe a single progress bar representing all of the projects (products). You can drill the progress down to any underlying level.

- you'll be able to connect 'tools the team love', such as Trello, to a BigPicture's project so that teams can keep their beloved software.

Upgrading to BigPicture 8 is free, from any previous version, for those who have a current subscription. We'll love to have you in the BigPicture community.
