Hi,
Ive build a rule with Jira Automation to send a mail when an issue is create and a tag is set.

My problem: When I reply to this mail Jira creates a new issue instead of adding this mail as comment to the existing issue.

How can I send mails when an issue is created with a specific tag set and reply to this issue a comment to the existing issue?

Regards
Nardino

You need to include the issue key in the email subject and the Reply to should be your incoming email handler email.

Your automation looks correct, can you check what incoming mail handler you have?

I think it should be "Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue"
