Automate portfolio partent based on portfolio children status

Hello,

In my avanced roadmap (Plan) hierarchy I have at the high level the Initiative issue type and below the Epic. Initiative is in the project WALLET Epics are in many projects.

I am struggling to create 2 automations

First

If all the Epic of a given Initiative are in one of these status in ('PO Review', 'IT Review', To Plan') I want my initiative to transition from Open to Qualification.

Second

If one Epic of a given Initiative is in the status = "In progress" then Transition the Initiative to "In Developement"

So far I have tried to create an automation checking the transition of the Epic into one the status then I create a branch with a JQL but I'm kinda lost...

Someone can help?

For a question like this, context is important for the community to help.  Please post the following:

• an image of your complete automation rule in a single image for continuity
• images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches
• an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution
• explain what is not working as expected and why you believe that to be the case

Until we see those...

There are several built-in template rules you could use as a starting point.  You may find them under Templates in the rule list.  One such example is named:

When all child work items are completed → then close parent
