Hello,

A field has been updated in a transition screen so if there is a way to apply the change to existing issues?

Thanks

Zoey

Hi @Zoey Wang and welcome to the Community!

Yes, there is: you can apply a bulk change to your existing issues to fill out the new field. Be aware that it should not only be present on the transition screens, but also on the edit screen(s) of you issues so it can be updated.

Navigate to Filter > Advanced search and perform a search there to retrieve all the issues you want to update. From the ... button near the top right corner of your screen, select bulk change and then follow the steps on your screen to update the issues as you need.

note: you need the global permission make bulk changes in order to do this. If you don't see this option in the ... menu, a Jira administrator can either perform the update for you or grant you the necessary permission.

Hope this helps!
