Ability to add story points to a bug

I have added story points as a primary field to bugs. However when opening a bug I cannot ad the story points. 

What should I do?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

In order to get Story Points available for bugs, you can perform the following steps:

- Navigate to JIRA Settings > Issues > Custom field

- Find the Story Points field > Click in Configure > Edit Configuration:

- In the section Choose applicable issue types, select the bug issue type and click in Modify:
