7-day calendar view

Is there a way to view a 7-day calendar in Jira and have the colour coded category display on each Issue?

The screenshot below is the calendar in Jira which is missing:

• Ability to view as 7-days.
• Ability to see the colour coded Category on each issue.

The screenshot below is a 7-day calendar in Trello that we're trying to replicate in Jira. In Trello we could see each Issue's Title, Assignee, Due date and colour coded Category.

Unfortunately I can't find a way to customize the level of detail that's displayed on the Jira calendar view (i.e. category in your case)

However, you're not the only person that wants this capability - here's a change request where you can add a comment, doing so may help it get tackled more quickly.
