When will we have an updated API so we can automate the update of the capacity plan? Currently no methods are exposed. I also don't understand why the data is isolated and requires a duplication of data instead of just reading the current assignment and using capacity simply as a view of the current data. Seems to be a waste of processing and bloat.

Individual Capacity Planning is going to GA soon — targeting end of July!

Sharing an update on rollout plans: we're skipping open Beta and shipping directly to GA soon.

• To ship with confidence, we've refined our scope: deferring some capabilities (like monthly view) and adding impactful ones (like bulk edit, API) that deliver value from day one.
• This July release will be our last planned feature drop for now, but your feedback continues to shape what comes next in the future.

@Anukrati Saxena I see this is now live in my Jira (not in my sandbox, btw.) 

So the capacity tab is assuming that everyone works the same hours/week? Nobody is allowed to work part-time? Or am I missing something?

Hi everyone — a quick update on where things stand.

Individual Capacity Planning view is now rolling out as part of Jira's July release! 
This is a gradual rollout, so you may not see it right away, but we expect it to be available to all eligible sites next week. 

On your specific questions:

• Summary of functionality: We will share this along with release comms. Please stay tuned. 

• Editable capacity: The current view is based on a standard 40-hour workweek. We're considering flexibility here for the future though I'm not able to share a timeline just yet. 

• German language bug: Thanks for flagging this! We're actively looking into it. It would be really helpful if you could also raise a bug report so our team can track it

• Is there a timeline for API access (for reporting purposes)
• How does this information interact w Plans or individual epic views.
