Hi team!
I recently learnt that I might be able to retrieve my certifications I completed while working at my previous company. However, my account was linked to my work email address that was understandably deactivated/deleted shortly after I left. I did not have a chance to download or transfer the certifications to my personal email. l
Is it possible to retrieve these certifications if the login email address no longer exists?
I had completed these courses way back in 2023.
I may have answered my own question after some further research. If I am correct, Atlassian certifications are valid for 24 months. If this is the case, retrieving the previous certificates would be needless.
Is somebody able to confirm this?
Hi @Jenna-Lee Leenaerts ,
Correct - as stated in the official certification FAQ:
Your certification is valid for two years (24 months). There are different ways to maintain your certification before it expires. Note that the renewal only applies to certifications; certificates are not renewable and are valid for one year (12 months).
Here's also an official article related to maintaining certifications: Maintain your certification
Also, Atlassian uses CM Connect as our credentialing platform portal. In here, it's almost required to use a personal email address instead of the business/company one. Can you log in here with your personal email address/account?
I do think you can reach out to the certification team via this channel: Atlassian Support > select Training and certification > topic Certification Portal > reason Email Update and then they should be able to check or help you out with this. 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
