Atlassian Certification Designations are official recognitions that validate an individual's proficiency in administering or using Atlassian solutions. Each designation consists of a set of related credentials.

Your certification is valid for two years (24 months). There are different ways to maintain your certification before it expires. Note that the renewal only applies to certifications; certificates are not renewable and are valid for one year (12 months).

We will test your ability to use Atlassian apps in various environments and contexts. To successfully earn an Atlassian credential, you’ll need to review test prep materials from Atlassian Learning, and you’ll need real-world experience.
Be sure to learn about any features of the app that are not part of your day-to-day work experience, and get real-world practice with those features if possible.
We want you to succeed on your first attempt, so we strongly recommend a careful preparation strategy, even for those with many years of experience.

- Questions are intended to be challenging. We present real-world scenarios about meeting requirements, troubleshooting, and solving problems. You'll need experience with Atlassian apps to be successful.
Log in to the credential portal
Atlassian uses CM Connect as our credentialing platform portal. This is where you can view your credentials, renew certifications, create transcripts, and initiate exam registration. You can access the portal via single sign-on with your Atlassian account or you can use a personal email to log in. We recommend using your personal email address so you can take your credentials with you throughout your career.

Certification exams are delivered and proctored online. You'll pay the test delivery provider directly using a credit card.
Exams for Atlassian certificates, unlike certifications, are free and unproctored.
To register for an exam, log in to the credential portal and begin the registration process under the Schedule and Take Exams menu.
On the Certiverse page, you will find an exam registration guide and instructions for downloading and testing the secure browser software used for certitication exams. You must install and successfully test the secure browser software prior to your exam appoinment.

Verify a credential
Credentials can be verified from the credential portal. Credential holders can generate a URL for a credential or create a transcript to share with employers. See Share your credentials for details.
