Atlassian Community Round-up: December 2021

Hello Everyone!

2021 has come to an end. I know it hasn’t ended the way any of us wanted to, but personally I thought 2021 was I much better year than 2020.  I can only hope that means that 2022 will continue that trend and keep getting better.

As you have probably guessed by now, December didn’t slow down for great content! In fact it was really hard to decide what to include as there were so many great articles posted! You know the drill by now, this is just a sample, please be sure to go and check out all the amazing articles that have been posted. You won’t be disappointed!

With that having been said, let’s get things started!

• First up, it you have been hiding from winter and missed the Log4j RCE burning the internet, you should check out Atlassian's Response to Log4j (CVE-2021-44228). If you still have nightmares about the mention of Log4j, I’m sorry the next entry will be less painful. I promise.

• Next, there were tons of competitions and contests to take part in during December, December fun for everyone! A contest and special event roundup . While a number of them have closed now, it’s worth keeping an eye on Atlassian Community Contests for future contests.

• Something new to the Welcome Centre, 🎄Weekly Atlassian News Roundup | 13th December 2021. While this may be the last one of 2021, be sure to check the Welcome Center in 2022 for more of these posts on a weekly basis.

• Are you looking for some new music? The Atlassian Community team has the Best of Dream Team 2021, a playlist from the Atlassian Communiteam for you to check out!

• For all of my fellow Atlassian Cloud Administrators, the Atlassian Access team would like you to Say ‘hi’ to our new user admin role. If you have been looking for more granularity for your power users, you should check this out!
