i would say applying the DACI as well as the Goals, Success and Measures probably lend themselves best to the kind of projects that we run as a team.
We are a strong workgroup and have clearly defined areas of expertise as well as dependencies - so both these plays would be useful frameworks for us to build better strategic alignment across many of the projects we manage concurrently in our various work-streams.
I go with DACI because one of the main keys to the success of teams and projects is communication and with DACI, we can make it clear who is responsible for each task, which facilitates communication between team members and increases focus in the objectives to be achieved :)
I plan to use the team goals, signals and measures play with my team. We have created our strategic vision already and will find this play useful to define and measure our outcomes.
Hello, my name is Edgar and I am part of the team in charge of the atlassian suite within my organization. I see this course very positive and I leave with many ideas that I will put into practice in my organization.
The Customer Journey Mapping is a great collaboration tool to understand our customers and how they interact with our different teams during their journey. It also helps identifies our teams dependencies to answer to the journey.
The Goals, Signals, and Measures give a clear vision on objectives, how they will be measured and is helpful to creates OKR's. It's also allow to react quickly in case of adaptations (for example, your goal is to achieve a certain number or percentage of certification, and you must adjust it during the year).
Always a clear view and shared understanding for the team.
we are in the course of new team compositions. I like to have a costumer journey mapping with the 'new' team and take that along for further creation of the team's scope.
I'll run the Goals, Signals, and Measures play to transform the shared vision of the team in achievable, measurable, specific and time-bounded down-to-hearth goals
Clearly defined roles are important to us, just as short documentation. So we will probably try out DACI first and the Goals, Signals and Measures too.
Customer journey mapping is definitely going to be one of the key plays I am going to use with my teams. Sometimes its really difficult to really understand what the customer needs than what it wants. And I feel this mapping will help things get more clearer to take active decisions in the right direction.
As a PMP I am pretty familiar with the RACI matrix, but I had never heard of DACI before. So, it’s been a really exciting discovery and hence, I intend to use it as soon as I have the opportunity with my team. I think it will bring us at least two main pros: agility in making the decision, and transparency to the process.
To me, Vision Creation coupled with DACI -Decision making framework comes real handy in driving and defining requirements as a Product owner of the product. This course is so well made that it is super easy to understand and visualize the outcome.
I am planning to try DACI within my department. Market expansion is crucial for business growth. Organizations often explore new markets or segments to increase their customer base, revenue, and profitability. Implementing a market expansion strategy allows a company to capitalize on untapped opportunities, diversify risk, and gain a competitive edge.
I plan to run the Customer Journey Mapping play with my team to understand the process from the customer's point of view, their pain points and sentiments.
I'll play Goals, Signals, and Measures with my team. We were working in some improvementes for the entire department, and I think (at this point) we need to prepare and review some goals for the upcoming year's objectives and activities.
Establishing a cohesive and unified vision for your team's objectives is an absolute necessity. It's definitely worthwhile to start from the 'vision creation' and then adding the rest of the 'plays' as need be. This is really great, thanks for this!
