How to suppress Issue Dependency/Hierarchy

I'm not sure when this was turned on or who turned it on, but I want to remove the "Issue Dependency" / "Issue hierarchy" section that shows up in every issue. It takes up a lot of space in the issue and doesn't provide any real value. It looks like this:

No successor issues was found
Issue Hierarchy
Parents
No parent issues was found

No child issues was found
