How to Disable "Allow unassigned issues"

We have several Classic projects and we've migrated to a couple of Next-Gen projects. We are attempting to use an addon called Agile Backlog Tools for Jira which requires "All unassigned issues" to be turned OFF. I've set all of the Classic projects to not have unassigned as the default, but the Next-Gen doesn't have this option in the Project Settings. However, in the settings, it still says I have 3 projects that have unassigned which I assume is the Next-Gen Projects. If I cannot set them how can I ever disable this feature?
