Why does "Create Another" copy the description?

I get why versions, labels, and components are copied into the new issue, but why does the description get copied as well? Like the summary, it seems like the description would probably be unique and not need to be copied.

I've been doing tests and it looks like the only field that's blank in the moment you create another is the summary. Even the custom fields that I have in the screen are getting cloned.

So I'm sure this would be like a new feature request for Atlassian. Or maybe with a little dev this can be changed, not sure about that.
