User name not updated, once changed in Active Directory

Hey

We have a problem regarding the LDAP intregration. A user was initially created in our AD, with a incorrect username.

The user was imported into JIRA, with the same incorrect username.

The username have now been changed in AD, but this change isen't updated in JIRA.

I have tryed to force a sunc, but still the username remaind the incorrect one.

Hi Mikkel,

Seems like the user is still in your database;
As a workaround, I suggest you to disable your current User Directory (Jira and LDAP) and create a new one, with the same configuration as the old one.
Then your users might be cleaned and imported with the correct names.

Hi Mikkel,

Can you please let us know what authentication mechanism you are using?

ie Connecting to an LDAP directory or Connecting to an internal directory with LDAP authentication?
