I was able to setup JIRA to use LDAP and everyone was able to login. I had created a Jira admin account when installing JIRA at first and deleted this account once my LDAP account was created. Now there seems to be a problem with the LDAP authentication and I am unable to login with the error: Sorry, an error occurred trying to log you in - please try again.
atlassian-jira.log gives this error
LDAP: error code 49 - 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C0903C5, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, v23f0 ]; nested exception is javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C0903C5, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, v23f0
Traying to reset my password I got this email from atlassian.
This user account is managed in an external User Directory and JIRA is not able to update your password.
Please contact your System Administrator if you have any further queries.
How can I look at/fix my ldap configuration if I don't have access to JIRA. Is there a way to create a JIRA admin user without being able to login?
Thanks
Hi Muse,
In cases like that, you might check the database to re-enable the internal directory and recreate an internal admin:

Hope that this documentation can be of help!
Thanks Bruna, I was able to login using the link you provided in addition to this
Thanks
Muse
